We recognize that facing an unexpected pregnancy is difficult and can be stressful. First things first, we will listen to you and help you develop a plan for your unborn child. We are committed to guiding and assisting you throughout your journey.

It is our goal to help you find the perfect family for your child as well as assist you personally through this difficult and emotional journey. We want you to know that there are options and that we will be advocates for what you think is best for your unborn child.

Throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period,  we will work closely to ensure that you have a healthy,  stable pregnancy and birth. We remain invested in your well-being and offer educational stipends and casework services to help  you reach your own goals once you have placed your baby for adoption.

Family to Family Offers our Birth Mothers:

Maternity-related expenses
Ongoing and post-placement counseling (life-long)
Education and career planning
24-Hour availability
Chance to choose the family that you want for your child in an open, semi open, or traditional adoption.
Opportunities to meet the adoptive family you choose and develop a long-lasting relationship with them if you would like to do so.
Chance to choose if you want the adoptive family in the delivery room, hold the baby first, or other preferences you have around your baby’s birth.

Weekly allowances for food, clothing, and personal hygiene items during your pregnancy and for up to six (6) weeks after placement.
Transportation
Assistance with medical insurance and pre- and post-natal medical services.
Post-delivery expenses
Written adoption plan
On-going pictures and letters of your child after placement.

We know how important it is for you to make sure that your child is going to a healthy family. That is why we always ask for your preference and inputs about your desired adoptive family. Then, we will give you profile books of our adoptive families who meet your criteria. Once you have chosen an adoptive family, you can meet them and get to know them personally in order to make sure that they are the right family for your baby. If you choose to match with your desired adoptive family, then they will be with you as part of your support system throughout the process. Additionally, you and your chosen adoptive family will need to have an agreement on how much future contact you will receive after the baby’s birth and placement with the family.

You can choose to allow your adoptive family to be present during your child’s birth if you would like.

Once you sign over your parental rights 48 hours after your child’s birth, then your part of the adoption process is complete. Family To Family will provide counseling sessions for you for additional assistance during this difficult process. As a small personal agency, we hope that you will continue to keep in touch with us long after your baby’s adoption is complete.

In addition to our adoption services, Family To Family also offers educational assistance to qualifying birth parents. It is our honor and goal to make this experience as easy for you as we possibly can. We understand that your sacrifice is a hard one, and we promise to guide and support you as much as we can throughout your adoption experience with us.
