At Family to Family, we understand the power of personal relationships to change lives. We believe that all individuals and families face challenges in their lives and sometimes need help. Once we work with you, we consider you part of the Family to Family village. And just as we do for members of our own families, we are here for those who have been served by our programs long after their formal services have ended.

What does After Care at Family to Family look like?

Assistance implementing agreements in semi-open or open adoptions
Crisis intervention services for individuals and families facing homelessness, hunger, domestic violence or other urgent situations
Developmentally appropriate training and referral for services when adoptive children have challenges that their parents can’t manage
Enhancements Fund to provide financial assistance to foster and adoptive families with limited means so that their children can have memorable childhood opportunities
Empowering independent living and a successful launch to adulthood for former foster youth who age out of a Family to Family foster home

Fellowship opportunities for families who are traveling similar journeys
Information and referrals for services for any former client of the agency
Search and re-connection services for adult adoptees
Support and guidance for parents struggling to meet the needs of their children who have a history of abuse, neglect and trauma
